WILDLIFE
Red squirrels visit our garden and otters and seals are regularly spotted at Blackwaterfoot beach. Red deer and Golden eagles can often be seen just driving over the main road from the ferry terminal!
TOP ATTRACTIONS
We are centrally located to all of the tourist attractions on the island and some of the most popular family walks like Kings Caves and Machrie Standing Stones are right on our doorstep.
FOOD AND DRINK
Arran is fast becoming a top foodie destination and it's all in easy reach from Hamilton Cottages! Brodick is just 15 minutes away with a large selection of restaurants, cafes and take aways and we love to help point guests in the direction of our favourite eating spots!

our local village is 2.5km away. Situated around a small picturesque harbour it has a selection of shops including an artisan bakery, butchers, village store and newsagent.

WALKS
Many of the islands most popular family friendly walks are in the Shiskine Valley including Kings Caves and Machrie Standing stones. We also have Shedog and Kilpatrick Forests with miles and miles of forest trails.
