It helps everyone if we are clear about our contract with you. So here goes:
When you contact us, whether by e-mail, or our online form, we will contact you normally within 24 hours and confirm availability and cost. When you book we ask for a deposit of £150 to be paid within seven days to secure the booking (short breaks £100). The balance of payment is due six weeks prior to the start date of your booking.
On booking we need to know how many people will be in your party and we will ask you to state this at the time of booking. If you have any changes to the numbers before you arrive you should advise us.
We do not accept bookings for large single sex groups or for groups under the age of 25 unless by prior agreement. Please be honest about your group composition when you are booking and discuss this with us if you are not sure.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or to terminate the hire of the cottage to any party which we consider is not suitable to take or remain in charge or the cottage. No refunds will be given in this event.
We reserve the right to claim from you the full cost of making good any damage done to the cottage or its contents by any of your party during your stay.
We do accept dogs, however we ask dog owners to accept our conditions for dogs. Click on the “Dog owners” button on the left for more information.
If you are a dog owner and your dog causes damage to our cottage or its contents, the cost of repairing which is beyond the £50 deposit, we reserve the right to claim from you the full cost of making good repair or replacement.
If you cancel your holiday we need to know as soon as possible. The deposit is non refundable unless we can re-book the cottage. If you cancel within six weeks of the start date of your holiday you are liable for the full cost of your holiday unless we can re-book the period in question. If we can re-book the cottage (and we will make every effort to do so) we will refund your payments in full, so the sooner we know the more chance of a full refund.
Our cottages are strictly non smoking and we reserve the right to claim from you any costs incurred from additional cleaning where we consider that this condition has been violated.
