The Isle of Arran is a very popular destination for Autumn, Winter and early Spring short breaks. The Island is beautiful at all times of the year and is the perfect place just to get away from it all for a few days. An island somehow is special in this respect just because it is an island. The hour long sail on the boat is very relaxing and by the time you step ashore on the island you will find that the stresses of life have been left behind on the mainland for a few days.
Rosa, Shurig and Shepherd’s Cottages, are highly insulated and unlike many summer holiday cottages are fully heated, making them warm and comfortable in the "off season" months when the weather is colder. During the months away from the main season, as well as being bookable for full weeks, we make our cottages available for relaxing self catering short breaks. If you like to prepare your own candle lit dinners the cottages have modern fully equipped kitchens that have everything you could require to produce a feast. If you don't, most of the island's hotels, pubs and restaurants are open all year round and offer everything from great bar food to a la carte dining.
Our Arran breaks are normally part weeks i.e. 3 nights Friday to Monday or 4 nights Monday to Friday. We can, however, often accommodate different nights if required. To enquire please either phone, e-mail or fill in our online enquiry form.
Our Arran short breaks have proved very popular and represent great value. The cost varies depending on the dates, however our current prices for short breaks (together with the current availability) can be seen by clicking on the "Availability & Costs" tab (above left) for the cottage you are interested in.
